The baltimore chronicles is written in homage to the “little city that could,” my home, the place i’m always yearning for if i’m anywhere else. it is a novel in real time with recurring characters, a post-modern interpretation of plot and subplot, structures—both formal and informal—and, allusions to far greater works. equal parts bourgeois epic and experimental diatribe, it may well be the beginning of something interesting.
